Arshdeep Banwait

Hi, I am a Computer Science student at the University of Victoria. This blog will be a space where I share my reflections for this course, along with anything else related to learning and building a Personal Learning Network (PLN).

I am originally from India, and I moved to Victoria in 2018. Victoria is a beautiful city, and over the years I have really come to love living here, especially being so close to the ocean and the mountains.

Outside of school, I enjoy going to the gym and hiking. Living in Victoria makes both of these easy, since there are so many good trails nearby.

My path to Computer Science was not exactly a straight line. I first did a diploma in General Science at Camosun College, then took a break for a while before deciding what I actually wanted to do. After that, I switched into Computer Science at Camosun, and later transferred to UVic, which I am really happy I did.
